Working with Jessica from Pax & Lux was just a joy! Jessica is a vintage goods curator and seller. She envisioned a retro logo that captured the aesthetics of the 50s, 60s & 70s. Tying in the definitions of the Latin words Pax (Peace) and Lux (Light) to the visual design was important to Jessica, and I believe we did just that!

You may have picked up on the sun beams used throughout her logos to capture the “Lux” of the business name.. but where do we get the “Pax” aspect?
Cosmo flowers traditionally symbolize order and harmony. So what better way to emphasize “peace” while also remaining true to a retro vibe than by using a cosmo. Totally feeling the 70s aesthetics with this flower power.
